The Palisade Bulldogs softball team scored 11 runs and limited the host Poudre Impalas to 9 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Saturday.

With the triumph, Palisade moves its record to 9-3 on the year. The Bulldogs host Rifle (Rifle, CO) to clash with the Bears in a 4A Western Slope game on Tuesday, September 12. The Bears come into the game with a record of 8-1. Rifle won 8-4 in their recent non-league game against Peak to Peak (Lafayette, CO)

In their next game, the Impalas clash with the Loveland Red Wolves (Loveland, CO) in a 5A/4A Front Range game, on Tuesday, September 12. Poudre will attempt to move on its 2-10 season record. The Red Wolves come into the game with a 3-8 record after their 14-2 league loss to Rocky Mountain (Fort Collins, CO).
