In Saturday's non-league contest, the Pueblo South Colts (Pueblo, CO) softball team overwhelmed the host Rampart Rams (Colorado Springs, CO), by a margin of 20-0.

With the triumph, Pueblo South moves its record to 5-8 on the year. The Colts host Pueblo West (Pueblo West, CO) to play the Cyclones in a 4A South Central contest on Tuesday, September 12. The Cyclones come into the contest with a record of 8-4. Pueblo West lost 8-3 in their recent non-league contest against Discovery Canyon (Colorado Springs, CO)

In their next game, the Rams play the Pine Creek Eagles (Colorado Springs, CO) in a 5A/4A CSML contest, on Tuesday, September 12. Rampart will attempt to move on its 2-13 season record. The Eagles come into the contest with a 11-2 record after their 15-6 league win over Fountain-Fort Carson (Fountain, CO).
