Hillsboro Trojans (Hillsboro, KS) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Abilene Cowboys (Abilene, KS), 2-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Trojans clash with the Lyons Lions (Lyons, KS) in a Central Kansas match, on Tuesday, September 12. Hillsboro will attempt to advance on its 11-3 season record.

With the loss, Abilene drops to 5-5 on the campaign. The Cowboys host Concordia (Concordia, KS) to clash with the Panthers in a non-league match on Saturday, September 9. The Panthers come into the match with a record of 6-5. Concordia won 2-1 in their recent league match against Marysville (Marysville, KS)
