The AGWSR Cougars volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Nashua-Plainfield Huskies to 0 in the Cougars non-league victory on Saturday.

The Cougars now have a 5-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Denver for a non-league game on Saturday, September 9. AGWSR will meet a Cyclones team coming off a 3-0 league win over Hudson (Hudson, IA). The Cyclones record now stands at 11-1.

The Huskies (1-10) will now prepare for their game against Wapsie Valley (Fairbank, IA). The Warriors enter the non-league game with a 8-5 record. In their last game, Wapsie Valley dropped by Sumner-Fredericksburg (Sumner, IA), 3-0, in a league game.
