The Alburnett Pirates topped the visiting West Central Blue Devils volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Pirates now have a 2-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jesup for a non-league test on Saturday, September 9. Alburnett will confront a J-Hawks team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to South Hardin (Eldora, IA). The J-Hawks record now stands at 3-8.
The Blue Devils (0-7) will now prepare for their test against Starmont (Arlington, IA). The Stars enter the non-league test with a 2-1 record. In their last test, Starmont gained a win over Postville (Postville, IA), 3-1, in a non-league test.
