In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Axtell Wildcats volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Maywood/Hayes Center Wolves.

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Arapahoe Warriors (Arapahoe, NE) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 9. Axtell will attempt to advance on its 8-2 season record. The Warriors come into the match with a 4-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Brady (Brady, NE).

With the loss, Maywood/Hayes Center drops to 6-5 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Hitchcock County (Trenton, NE) to clash with the Falcons in a non-league match on Tuesday, September 12.
