In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting St. Paul Swordsmen volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Bassett Olympians.
The Swordsmen (4-9) will now prepare for their battle against West Covina (West Covina, CA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league battle with a 4-7 record.
Next, the Olympians clash with the La Puente Warriors (La Puente, CA) in a Miramonte contest, on Monday, September 11. Bassett will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Workman (City of Industry, CA).
