The Benton Bobcats volleyball team (Van Horne, IA), was nudged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host West Marshall Trojans (State Center, IA)

The Trojans (7-10) will now prepare for their challenge against East Marshall (Le Grand, IA). The Mustangs enter the North Iowa Cedar - West challenge with a 3-9 record. In their last challenge, East Marshall nipped B-G-M (Brooklyn, IA), 3-1, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bobcats encounter the Hudson Pirates (Hudson, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 9. Benton will attempt to move on its 6-10 season record. The Pirates enter the challenge with a 7-7 record after their 3-0 league loss to Denver (Denver, IA).
