The Blanchard Lions held off the host Lawton Wolverines volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Lions now have a 6-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Clinton for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 12. Blanchard will confront a Red Tornadoes team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Cache (Cache, OK). The Red Tornadoes record now stands at 3-12.
The Wolverines (8-5) will now prepare for their test against El Reno (El Reno, OK). The Indians enter the non-league test with a 3-6 record. In their last test, El Reno was nudged by Chickasha (Chickasha, OK), 3-0, in a non-league test.
