In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Boaz Pirates volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Hatton Hornets.
The Pirates (6-8) will now prepare for their battle against Madison County (Gurley, AL). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 16-7 record. In their last battle, Madison County achieved victory over Whitesburg Christian Academy (Huntsville, AL), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Hornets clash with the Lawrence County Red Devils (Moulton, AL) in a non-league battle, on Monday, September 11. Hatton will attempt to advance on its 1-15 season record. The Red Devils come into the battle with a 9-11 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Homewood (Homewood, AL).
