The Monticello Magic topped the visiting Brainerd Warriors volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Magic now have a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Little Falls for a non-league test on Saturday, September 9. Monticello will confront a Flyers team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Milaca (Milaca, MN). The Flyers record now stands at 0-2.

The Warriors (2-5) will now prepare for their test against Holdingford (Holdingford, MN). The Huskers enter the non-league test with a 0-3 record. In their last test, Holdingford was knocked off by Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa (Belgrade, MN), 3-0, in a league test.
