The Cardinal Newman Cardinals topped the host Napa Grizzlies volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Cardinals now have a 16-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bradshaw Christian for a non-league test on Saturday, September 9. Cardinal Newman will confront a The Pride team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Forest Lake Christian (Auburn, CA). The The Pride record now stands at 10-5.

The Grizzlies (1-7) will now prepare for their test against Petaluma (Petaluma, CA). The Trojans enter the Vine Valley Athletic League test with a 12-8 record. In their last test, Petaluma was knocked off by The Bay School (San Francisco, CA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
