The Cerro Gordo/Bement Broncos volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Dwight Trojans to 0 in the Broncos non-league victory on Saturday.
The Broncos now have a 13-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Judah Christian for a non-league game on Saturday, September 9. Cerro Gordo/Bement will confront a Tribe team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Salt Fork (Sidell, IL). The Tribe record now stands at 8-0.
The Trojans (2-13) will now prepare for their game against Lowpoint-Washburn (Washburn, IL). The Wildcats enter the Tri-County game with a 6-8 record. In their last game, Lowpoint-Washburn dropped by Brimfield (Brimfield, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
