The Cyclones (5-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Hitchcock-Tulare (Hitchcock, SD). The Patriots enter the non-league challenge with a 5-3 record. In their last challenge, Hitchcock-Tulare was dropped by Wolsey-Wessington (Wolsey, SD), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Coyotes meet the Arlington Cardinals (Arlington, SD) in a B Region 3 challenge, on Tuesday, September 12. Waverly/South Shore will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record. The Cardinals enter the challenge with a 3-8 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Elkton/Lake Benton (Elkton, SD).
