The Riceville Wildcats topped the host Clayton-Ridge Eagles volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Wildcats now have a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crestwood for a non-league test on Saturday, September 9. Riceville will confront a Cadets team coming off a 3-0 league loss to Decorah-North Winneshiek (Decorah, IA). The Cadets record now stands at 2-4.

The Eagles (5-7) will now prepare for their test against Crestwood (Cresco, IA). The Cadets enter the non-league test with a 2-4 record. In their last test, Crestwood was knocked off by Decorah-North Winneshiek (Decorah, IA), 3-0, in a league test.
