Iowa High School Volleyball - Riceville can't hold off Crestwood

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Crestwood Cadets volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Riceville Wildcats.
The Cadets (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Clayton-Ridge (Guttenburg, IA). The Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 4-5 record. In their last battle, Clayton-Ridge nudged Starmont (Arlington, IA), 3-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Wildcats encounter the Janesville Wildcats (Janesville, IA) in a Iowa Star North battle, on Thursday, September 14. Riceville will attempt to advance on its 5-7 season record. The Wildcats come into the battle with a 6-4 record after their 3-1 league win over Tripoli (Tripoli, IA).
