With the win, San Diego upgrades its record to 11-5 on the year. The Cavers travel to Montgomery (San Diego, CA) to play the Aztecs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 12. The Aztecs go into the bout with a record of 6-11. Montgomery lost 3-0 in their recent non-league bout against Mira Mesa (San Diego, CA)

The Firebirds now own a 4-11 record. They play next when they host San Pasqual for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 9. Del Lago Academy will play a Golden Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Southwest EC (El Centro, CA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 13-4.
