The Des Moines East Scarlets volleyball team (Des Moines, IA), went down 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Waukee Warriors (Waukee, IA)

The Warriors (6-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln (Council Bluffs, IA). The Lynx enter the non-league challenge with a 3-6 record. In their last challenge, Lincoln defeated Sioux City North (Sioux City, IA), 3-1, in a league challenge.

Next, the Scarlets encounter the North Polk Comets (Alleman, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 9. Des Moines East will attempt to move on its 0-8 season record. The Comets enter the challenge with a 14-2 record after their 3-1 league win over Winterset (Winterset, IA).
