The Patriots (9-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Britton-Hecla (Britton, SD). The Braves enter the non-league challenge with a 4-1 record. In their last challenge, Britton-Hecla defeated Deuel (Clear Lake, SD), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Bulldogs encounter the Sioux Valley Cossacks (Volga, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 12. DeSmet will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Cossacks enter the challenge with a 6-3 record after their 3-0 league win over Flandreau (Flandreau, SD).
