The Phillips Loggers prevailed the host Drummond Lumberjacks volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Loggers now have a 13-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grantsburg for a non-league test on Saturday, September 9. Phillips will confront a Pirates team coming off a 3-2 league win over Unity (Balsam Lake, WI). The Pirates record now stands at 9-4.
The Lumberjacks (1-3) will now prepare for their test against Hurley (Hurley, WI). The Northstars enter the non-league test with a 1-3 record. In their last test, Hurley gained a win over Butternut (Butternut, WI), 3-1, in a non-league test.
