The Mountain View Cougars volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Eagle Point Eagles to 1 in the Cougars non-league victory on Saturday.

The Cougars now have a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Ridgeview for a 5A Intermountain game on Tuesday, September 12. Mountain View will meet a Ravens team coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Churchill (Eugene, OR). The Ravens record now stands at 1-3.

The Eagles (5-4) will now prepare for their game against Churchill (Eugene, OR). The Lancers enter the 5A Midwestern game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Churchill was nudged by Thurston (Springfield, OR), 3-0, in a league game.
