Texas High School Volleyball - Splendora tips East Chambers

Splendora Wildcats (Splendora, TX) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the visiting East Chambers Buccaneers (Winnie, TX), 2-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Bridge City Cardinals (Bridge City, TX) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 9. Splendora will attempt to advance on its 13-10 season record. The Cardinals come into the match with a 15-4 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Woodville (Woodville, TX).

With the loss, East Chambers drops to 18-9 on the campaign. The Buccaneers host Buna (Buna, TX) to clash with the Cougars in a 3A Region III District 22 match on Tuesday, September 12. The Cougars come into the match with a record of 20-12. Buna lost 2-1 in their recent non-league match against Hamshire-Fannett (Hamshire, TX)
