The Ruston Bearcats volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Episcopal Knights to 0 in the Bearcats non-league victory on Saturday.
The Bearcats now have a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fontainebleau for a non-league game on Saturday, September 9. Ruston will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over St. Joseph's Academy (Baton Rouge, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-5.
The Knights (3-3) will now prepare for their game against University Lab (Baton Rouge, LA). The Cubs enter the Division IV District 3 game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, University Lab gained a win over St. John (Plaquemine, LA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
