The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Marissa/Coulterville Meteors (Marissa, IL) and the host Flora Wolves (Flora, IL), saw Marissa/Coulterville's volleyball squad beat Flora by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Marissa/Coulterville upgrades its record to 7-6 on the year. The Meteors travel to Sparta (Sparta, IL) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 12. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Sparta lost 2-0 in their recent league bout against Okawville (Okawville, IL)

The Wolves now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to Fairfield for a Black Diamond East bout on Thursday, September 14. Flora will play a Mules squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Hinsdale South (Darien, IL). The Mules record now stands at 16-2.
