The Gateway Christian Warriors volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Quemado Eagles to 0 in the Warriors non-league victory on Saturday.

The Warriors now have a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Legacy Academy for a non-league game on Saturday, September 9. Gateway Christian will meet a Silverbacks team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Chesterton Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Silverbacks record now stands at 2-1.

The Eagles (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Mescalero Apache (Mescalero, NM). The Chiefs enter the non-league game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Mescalero Apache dropped by New Mexico Military Institute (Roswell, NM), 3-0, in a non-league game.
