Michigan High School Volleyball - Kingsley can't hold off Grandville

In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Grandville Bulldogs volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Kingsley Stags.
The Bulldogs (7-5) will now prepare for their battle against Escanaba (Escanaba, MI). The Eskymos come into the non-league battle with a 3-5 record. In their last battle, Escanaba nudged Gladstone (Gladstone, MI), 3-1, in a league battle.
Next, the Stags clash with the Buckley Bears (Buckley, MI) in a Northwest battle, on Tuesday, September 12. Kingsley will attempt to advance on its 13-3 season record. The Bears come into the battle with a 2-9 record after their 3-0 league loss to Benzie Central (Benzonia, MI).
