California High School Volleyball - Nevada Union edged by Granite Bay

The Granite Bay Grizzlies held off the visiting Nevada Union Miners volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Grizzlies now have a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Christian Brothers for a non-league test on Saturday, September 9. Granite Bay will confront a Falcons team coming off a 3-0 league win over Sacramento (Sacramento, CA). The Falcons record now stands at 11-4.

The Miners (6-16) will now prepare for their game against Ponderosa (Shingle Springs, CA). The Bruins enter the non-league game with a 3-3 record. In their last game, Ponderosa was nudged by Whitney (Rocklin, CA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
