The Prairie Hawks held off the visiting Grinnell Tigers volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Hawks now have a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Wahlert for a non-league test on Saturday, September 9. Prairie will confront a Golden Eagles team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Center Point-Urbana (Center Point, IA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 1-2.
The Tigers (1-9) will now prepare for their test against Dowling Catholic (West Des Moines, IA). The Maroons enter the non-league test with a 7-1 record. In their last test, Dowling Catholic held off Ankeny Centennial (Ankeny, IA), 3-2, in a league test.
