The Cardinals (7-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Sherman (Moro, OR). The Huskies come into the 1A Big Sky challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Sherman was edged by Ione/Arlington (Ione, OR), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs encounter the Irrigon Knights (Irrigon, OR) in a 2A Blue Mountain challenge, on Tuesday, September 12. Heppner will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 5-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Umatilla (Umatilla, OR).
