The Wood River Eagles volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Hershey Panthers to 1 in the Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.

The Eagles now have a 9-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Grand Island Central Catholic for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 12. Wood River will confront a Crusaders team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over North Bend Central (North Bend, NE). The Crusaders record now stands at 8-0.

The Panthers (5-7) will now prepare for their game against Kimball (Kimball, NE). The Longhorns enter the non-league game with a 0-7 record.
