Kentucky High School Volleyball - Somerset Christian can't hold off Highlands

The Somerset Christian Cougars volleyball team (Somerset, KY), was edged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Highlands Bluebirds (Fort Thomas, KY)

The Bluebirds (7-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Great Crossing (Georgetown, KY). The come into the non-league challenge with a 10-0 record. In their last challenge, Great Crossing nudged Johnson Central (Paintsville, KY), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars encounter the Scott County Cardinals (Georgetown, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 9. Somerset Christian will attempt to move on its 7-2 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 5-4 record after their 2-1 non-league win over Marion County (Lebanon, KY).
