The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Philip Scotties (Philip, SD) and the visiting Highmore/Harrold Pirates (Highmore, SD), saw Philip's volleyball squad nip Highmore/Harrold by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Philip upgrades its record to 6-2 on the year. The Scotties travel to Rapid City Christian (Rapid City, SD) to play the Comets in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 12. The Comets go into the bout with a record of 12-2. Rapid City Christian won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Kadoka (Kadoka, SD)

The Pirates now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they travel to Potter County co-op [Gettysburg/Hoven] for a B Region 2 bout on Tuesday, September 12. Highmore/Harrold will play a Battlers squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Miller (Miller, SD). The Battlers record now stands at 3-5.
