In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Raytown South Cardinals volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Hogan Prep Charter Rams.

The Cardinals (3-4) will now prepare for their battle against Sumner Academy (Kansas City, KS). The Sabres come into the Meadowlark battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Sumner Academy beat Washington (Kansas City, KS), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

With the loss, Hogan Prep Charter drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Sumner Academy (Kansas City, KS) to battle the Sabres in a Meadowlark contest on Saturday, September 9.
