The Chargers (5-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Chapman (Chapman, KS). The Fighting Irish enter the non-league challenge with a 4-4 record. In their last challenge, Chapman defeated Wamego (Wamego, KS), 2-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Falcons encounter the Clay Center Tigers (Clay Center, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 9. Riley County will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Tigers go into the bout with a 3-1 record after their 2-1 league win over Abilene (Abilene, KS).
