In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Jesup J-Hawks volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the West Central Blue Devils.

The J-Hawks (8-8) will now prepare for their battle against Alburnett (Alburnett, IA). The Pirates come into the non-league contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Alburnett was beaten by North Cedar (Stanwood, IA), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

With the loss, West Central drops to 0-7 on the campaign. The Blue devils travel to Starmont (Arlington, IA) to battle the Stars in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 12. The Stars come into the contest with a record of 2-1. Starmont won 3-1 in their recent non-league contest against Postville (Postville, IA)
