The Pearl River Rebels volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Kenner Discovery Health Sciences Academy Swamp Owls to 1 in the Rebels non-league victory on Saturday.
The Rebels now have a 8-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Slidell for a non-league game on Wednesday, September 13. Pearl River will meet a Tigers team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Walker (Walker, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 11-1.
The Swamp Owls (3-4) will now prepare for their game against Springfield (Springfield, LA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Springfield was nudged by St. Michael (Baton Rouge, LA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
