The Linden Eagles volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Kingsley Stags to 1 in the Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.
The Eagles now have a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake City for a non-league game on Saturday, September 9. Linden will meet a Trojans team coming off a 2-0 league win over Beal City (Mt. Pleasant, MI). The Trojans record now stands at 21-0.
The Stags (13-3) will now prepare for their game against Buckley (Buckley, MI). The Bears enter the Northwest game with a 2-9 record. In their last game, Buckley was nudged by Benzie Central (Benzonia, MI), 3-0, in a league game.
