The Kountze Lions topped the visiting Lighthouse HomeSchool Lions volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Lions now have a 14-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Orangefield for a non-league test on Saturday, September 9. Kountze will confront a Bobcats team coming off a 3-0 league win over Kirbyville (Kirbyville, TX). The Bobcats record now stands at 11-5.

The Lions (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Evadale (Evadale, TX). The Rebels enter the non-league test with a 11-11 record. In their last test, Evadale gained a win over Colmesneil (Colmesneil, TX), 3-0, in a non-league test.
