The Putnam City Pirates prevailed the visiting Lawton Wolverines volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Pirates now have a 6-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Eisenhower for a non-league test on Monday, September 11. Putnam City will confront a Eagles team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to MacArthur (Lawton, OK). The Eagles record now stands at 1-11.
The Wolverines (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Bethany (Bethany, OK). The Bronchos enter the non-league test with a 12-2 record. In their last test, Bethany gained a win over Harding Prep (Oklahoma City, OK), 3-0, in a non-league test.
