California High School Volleyball - Leland can't hold off San Leandro

In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting San Leandro Pirates volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the Leland Chargers.
The Pirates (6-7) will now prepare for their battle against Valley Christian (San Jose, CA). The Warriors come into the non-league battle with a 8-2 record. In their last battle, Valley Christian nudged Hillsdale (San Mateo, CA), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Chargers encounter the Evergreen Valley Cougars (San Jose, CA) in a BVAL - Mt. Hamilton battle, on Tuesday, September 12. Leland will attempt to move on its 2-5 season record. The Cougars come into the battle with a 4-2 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Silver Creek (San Jose, CA).
