Nebraska High School Volleyball - Wayne tips Lexington

The Wayne Blue Devils (Wayne, NE) volleyball nudged the visiting Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, NE), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Wayne upgrades its record to 5-4 on the year. The Blue Devils travel to Guardian Angels Central Catholic (West Point, NE) to clash with the Bluejays in a non-league battle on Tuesday, September 12. The Bluejays come into the battle with a record of 7-2. Guardian Angels Central Catholic won 3-1 in their recent non-league battle against Boone Central/Newman Grove (Albion, NE)

Next, the Minutemen clash with the North Platte Bulldogs (North Platte, NE) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 12. Lexington will attempt to advance on its 2-11 season record. The Bulldogs come into the battle with a 3-8 record after their 2-0 league loss to Lincoln Southeast (Lincoln, NE).
