The Newark Memorial Cougars volleyball team (Newark, CA), was dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Lincoln Mustangs (San Francisco, CA)

The Mustangs (10-3) will now prepare for their challenge against San Leandro (San Leandro, CA). The Pirates enter the non-league challenge with a 5-5 record. In their last challenge, San Leandro defeated Arroyo (San Lorenzo, CA), 3-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Cougars meet the Irvington Vikings (Fremont, CA) in a Mission Valley challenge, on Tuesday, September 12. Newark Memorial will attempt to move on its 4-4 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Lincoln (San Francisco, CA).
