The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Traverse City Central Trojans (Traverse City, MI) and the visiting Linden Eagles (Linden, MI), saw Traverse City Central's volleyball squad beat Linden by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Traverse City Central upgrades its record to 10-5 on the year. The Trojans travel to Grandville (Grandville, MI) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 9. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Grandville won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Portage Northern (Portage, MI)
The Eagles now own a 4-2 record. They play next when they travel to Flushing for a Flint Metro bout on Monday, September 11. Linden will play a Raiders squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Kearsley (Flint, MI). The Raiders record now stands at 2-1.
