The Taft Eagles volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Maine West Warriors to 0 in the Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.
The Eagles now possess a 4-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westinghouse for a Chicago Public Super game on Tuesday, September 12. Taft will meet a Warriors team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Lane Tech (Chicago, IL). The Warriors record now stands at 6-2.
The Warriors (2-11) will now prepare for their game against Resurrection (Chicago, IL). The Bandits enter the non-league game with a 3-6 record. In their last game, Resurrection was dropped by York (Elmhurst, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
