Kansas High School Volleyball - Wabaunsee over Marais des Cygnes Valley

The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Wabaunsee Chargers (Alma, KS) and the visiting Marais des Cygnes Valley Trojans (Melvern, KS), saw Wabaunsee's volleyball squad beat Marais des Cygnes Valley by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Wabaunsee upgrades its record to 3-5 on the year. The Chargers host Marysville (Marysville, KS) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 12. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 7-7. Marysville lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Rock Creek (St. George, KS)

The Trojans now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Lebo for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 9. Marais des Cygnes Valley will play a Wolves squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Northeast Kansas Nighthawks HomeSchool (Topeka, KS). The Wolves record now stands at 3-1.
