The Quemado Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Mescalero Apache Chiefs to 0 in the Eagles non-league victory on Saturday.
The Eagles now have a 3-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ramah for a non-league game on Thursday, September 14.
The Chiefs (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Alamo Navajo (Magdalena, NM). The Cougars enter the non-league game with a 3-1 record. In their last game, Alamo Navajo gained a win over Tse' Yi' Gai (Cuba, NM), 3-0, in a non-league game.
