In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Middleton Vikings volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Wood River Wolverines.
The Vikings now have a 15-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Owyhee for a 5A Southern Idaho test on Tuesday, September 12. Middleton will confront a Storm team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Highland (Pocatello, ID). The Storm record now stands at 10-2.
The Wolverines (8-8) will now prepare for their test against Canyon Ridge (Twin Falls, ID). The Riverhawks enter the 4A Great Basin - West test with a 6-1 record. In their last test, Canyon Ridge was knocked off by Twin Falls (Twin Falls, ID), 3-2, in a league test.
