With the win, Murrieta Valley upgrades its record to 8-3 on the year. The Nighthawks host Great Oak (Temecula, CA) to face the Wolfpack in a Southwestern outing on Tuesday, September 12. The Wolfpack go into the outing with a record of 5-8. Great Oak lost 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Menlo School (Atherton, CA)

The Sailors now own a 8-9 record. They play next when they travel to Edison for a Sunset - Surf outing on Tuesday, September 12. Newport Harbor will face a Chargers squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Santa Margarita (Rancho Santa Margarita, CA). The Chargers record now stands at 8-9.
