Kansas High School Volleyball - Nickerson tips Republic County

The Nickerson Panthers (Nickerson, KS) volleyball nudged the host Republic County Buffaloes (Belleville, KS), 2-1 in Saturday's non-league outing.

With the win, Nickerson upgrades its record to 7-8 on the year. The Panthers travel to Halstead (Halstead, KS) to face the Dragons in a Central Kansas outing on Tuesday, September 12. The Dragons go into the outing with a record of 11-1. Halstead won 2-0 in their recent non-league outing against Trinity Academy (Wichita, KS)

The Buffaloes now own a 0-7 record. They play next when they travel to Ellinwood for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 9. Republic County will face a Eagles squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Victoria (Victoria, KS). The Eagles record now stands at 4-2.
