The Panthers (7-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Normal West (Normal, IL). The Wildcats enter the non-league challenge with a 10-1 record. In their last challenge, Normal West defeated Limestone (Bartonville, IL), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Senators meet the Mahomet-Seymour Bulldogs (Mahomet, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 9. Springfield will attempt to move on its 8-6 season record. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a 10-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Lincoln (Lincoln, IL).
